Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Every Wednesday in  outlawzchallenges we have a sketch challenge!

This week as a DT we got to choose from the last two years of sketches!  I picked this sketch from Sept. 2017

And this is what I created using the sketch  I used the image: Bells are Ringing from Digistamps4joy

I colored the image with copics.  Patterned Paper is from: the paper studio

I created two cards using a color combo from the group:

Stampin' Up! Color Challenge

You resquest a color challenge and someone gives your 3-4 colors to use.
The colors I was given:
Lemon Lime Twist
Pool Party
Melon Mambo.

And the stamp set I choose was: Fabulous Flamingo (Stampin Up)

This was a great challenge for me...I used this stamp set for the first time and also the Lemon Lime Twist for the first time!

First card I did the Triple Time Stamping Technique.

Here is another example of the Eclipse Technique using shape dies and patterned paper.  Hopefully, later today I will be working on making a title for a scrapbook page using the same technique.  I finally got large alphabet dies!

Eclipse Technique

I will be teaching a card making technique at a local crop in January.  I picked the Eclipse Card Technique.

I used:

  1. Seaside Shore Stamp Set from Stampin Up.
  2. Thank You Thinlits Dies from Stampin Up.
  3. Dapper Denim, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Tranquil Tide, and Hello Honey(stampin Up inks)

A fun and quick way to add depth and a shadow to your word dies and shape dies!  You can do this with patterned paper or make your own backgrounds!
